About This Podcast
SIÂN REEVES was a part of the original Les Miserables cast. Premiering at the Barbican Theatre, London and then on to the Palace Theatre, London. The Show is still running today alongside SIÂN’s 40 year career. SIÂN is thrilled to have been able to speak to some of her cast, crew and creative members who made such a huge impression on her in her first ever professional job. Playing an original whore and factory worker and understudy to Cosette which she luckily got on to play many times as Rebecca was performing in Glyndbourne. SIÂN went on to play many leads in musicals, her favourites include Maria in West Side Story, Sheila Franklin in Hair. SIÂN is also known for her TV career including BBC1’s Cutting It, Sky’s Mount Pleasant, ITV’s Northern Lights, BBC2’s Land of Plenty and much more including the villainous Sally Spode in ITV’s Emmerdale. SIÂN feels lucky to still be acting alongside presenting on the radio and directing.
