Gilbert, a Christian, husband and father, and the author of the groundbreaking books 'The Second Coming of Saturn,' 'Last Clash of the Titans,' 'Bad Moon Rising,' and 'The Great Inception,' and co-author with wife Sharon K. Gilbert of 'Veneration' and 'Giants, Gods & Dragons.' Derek has been a professional broadcaster since 1980, with a career that included stops in Peoria, Little Rock, Saint Louis, and Philadelphia. He currently hosts Five in Ten, a daily news analysis show for SkyWatchTV, and co-hosts with Sharon the weekly programs Unraveling Revelation and SciFriday.
