About This Podcast

Exploring the emotions of artists, curators, and academics working within Practice-based Art Studies, Academic Feelings challenges the notion that emotions in professional life should be kept private. By staying with what feels at stake, the show opens new ways of understanding knowledge itself, positioning sensitivity as a necessary counterforce in a time shaped by competition, precarity, acceleration, and performance.

Created as a podcast artwork for the Centre for Practice-based Art Studies (PASS) at the University of Copenhagen and hosted by artist Rosa Marie Frang, the show features raw, unedited conversations, distinctive use of music, and reflections on the emotions involved in making the podcast itself.
