In this series, Cecilia Adamou talks to extraordinary people who all have one thing in common - a profound and life-altering, near death experience. During the course of the series, you will hear a range of fascinating stories from a group of incredible survivors. You will hear from a man in crisis, who with nowhere else to turn, found himself facing a jump that would end it all. A young and aspiring journalist, stopped dead in her tracks by the deadly Covid virus, forced to abandon her dreams and fight for her life. A father who simply set out to change his habits, but a disastrous accident flipped his world upside down. A mother, enjoying the hubbub of everyday life, the victim of a horrifying accident that would play out in front of those who love her the most. You will hear the story of a woman who turned to alcohol, and found herself falling down a dark and self-destructive hole that she thought she may never be able to escape. And a photographer, who while on a job in a volatile and war-torn country, was caught in an explosion that altered his body and everything he knew. These are amazing people with amazing stories and together, we can share with you positive conversations about life and the importance of living it.
