This is a membership podcast for people who are ready to stop managing their stress and start regulating their nervous system — with practices that are grounded in science, guided by experience, and designed to actually fit inside a real human life. Each episode is a dose. Small. Intentional. Enough. You'll find guided meditations, Yoga Nidra, breathwork, somatic practices, nervous system resets, and science-backed tools drawn from applied neuroscience, functional genomics, and over a decade of working with bodies that have carried too much for too long. This is not wellness performance. No toxic positivity. No "just breathe and think good thoughts." No pretending that calm is a personality trait some people have and others don't. Calm is a skill. Regulation is something your nervous system can learn — and re-learn — even after years of dysregulation, chronic stress, invisible illness, or survival mode living. I'm Lane Kennedy — Calm Docent, stress capacity specialist, author of Sobriety for Dummies, and someone who has rebuilt her own nervous system from the inside out. I bring the science and the lived experience, because I've needed both.
