About This Podcast

Letters from the Marsh is season three of DISC Radio, another product of the MythLab. This time we are joined by six researchers from the Living Dikes Project. Through the eyes of young Isabella, we explore a salt marsh and the communities that are intertwined with them. We use this story as a container for inspiring discussions coastal nature-based-intiatives with the storytellers and their colleagues in the Living Dikes Project. Season two is the outcome of the first MythLab project, a collaborative storytelling adventure that took place over six sessions and resulted in six versions of a tale of one man's relationship with an ocean that has disappeared. The inaugural season of DISC Radio is made up of six conversations, that explore answers to this question. We spoke with six very cool people and got six very different stories, each that inspired me in ways I did not expect. We talked a lot about what we wanted to do, before we got to a question that's at the core of what we believed as storytellers: What story changed your life? We heard beautiful stories of love, perspective, and deciding where to go next. Stories that changed their lives, and if, you're lucky, they might change yours too!
