About This Podcast
This podcast is made up of episodes recorded by University students attending the Gut Reaction course at DIS Copenhagen (Study Abroad in Scandinavia).
We focus on the gut microbiome and its interactions with the different organs and systems. Each semester starts with reflecting on us and them (our microbes), and the concept that we contain multitudes. Next, we explore individual pieces of the puzzle, and put them together to see the big picture. Concepts of ecology, biology, physiology, and genetics help glue everything together.
To a lesser extent, we also look at other microbiomes.
We like to keep it simple, so all episodes were recorded on a mobile phone and are non-edited single takes.
