In The Spectrum of Roots

We aim to create an engaging and enlightening podcast experience that reflects the rich tapestry of music and its culture as experienced and driven by first generation Caribbean Brits. As musicians we seek to unearth and amplify diverse voices, tell untold stories and uncover the personalities behind their achievements. The hosts endeavour to capture unique stories from a unique and influential migrant culture which includes music, art, martial arts, health and fitness and all along a broad range of interests. Indeed there is a vibrant and eclectic tale to be told - in the Spectrum of Roots. The show is hosted by Reality Souljah, a veteran roots reggae artist, producer and musician, and Ize Redd, musician, artist and videographer. Both as individual artists as well as collaborators in the guise of Garvey's Ghost, their message is one of positivity and, of course, having a laugh. Join them for fun and informative conversations with some of the great and the good here in the UK and abroad.
