Indiscreet

Hi I’m Christina, host of Indiscreet.

I’ve had a few unusual jobs in my life: hosting a party bus (catered to only bachelor parties), organizing speed dating events and I’ve even been interviewed by a local television station who dubbed me a “Dating Expert” (their words not mine). However, I think the most unconventional job was 10+ years working in adult stores.

I started this podcast in order to explore and share stories with my fellow adult store cohort (an industry only few get to experience), but after recording a couple of episodes I realized that there was so much more to it than that. It turns out this podcast is actually about the workers, the patrons, the detractors, the industry as a whole and the way our culture still struggles with the topic of sex: Who is having it? What are they doing? And why are we so obsessed with it?
