A podcast for the romantic, where C-dramas are saving romance one episode at a time. I’m your host Karena. I recently found C-Dramas by accident or fate. I’m a complete outsider. No cultural background, no knowledge of the language. I’ve never been to China. I need every subtitle available and yet, I can’t stop watching!
Because here’s what I have recently discovered. C-dramas are giving women something American entertainment stopped offering… ROMANCE! Real, intentional, slow burn, swoon worthy drama. At a time when modern dating has lost its plot and Western storytelling has abandoned the slow burn, Chinese dramas are quietly delivering exactly what women are starving for.
Each week, I will break down two episodes of a C-drama to analyze the journey, the drama and the romance.
