About This Podcast

Looking from the outside in, every podcaster appears to have it all figured out. “How hard could it be?” we exclaim, and hurry off to try it for ourselves. Hidden in the depths behind the high quality audio and engaging guests, there is a bigger world in Podcasting than we could have possible imagined. Microphones, Audio Production, Content Strategy, Recording & Planning, Marketing Potential… all of it is new and unique in this connection-focussed medium for your business, mission and purpose. So what can you do when the only answer to your most important question is “It depends…”? Its in these moments that the ability to reframe our thinking, change our perspective and reflect on our understanding will help us grow and adapt in the podcasting world. And with that mindset shift brings with it confidence, clarity and direction. On Rethinking Podcasting with me, Matthew Bliss, I’ll be exploring the common (and uncommon) questions that arise in the podcasting space and giving you the tools to reframe and rethink your own podcasting strategy and find joy in your podcast again. The thing to remember is that we’re all human, and our podcast is an extension of us. As you listen each week, you’ll also learn about how we think and how to break down the barriers that cognitively limit all of us. (including me!) This will help you thrive — not only in podcasting, but in your work and life. I am obsessed with workflows, mindset, philosophy and cognition, and sharing these aspects with you will help your own approach to rethinking your podcast whenever the need arises. If you’ve felt close to burnout, unsure of where to find answers, or frustrated with the state of your podcast, then let me help you flourish in the podcasting world.
