About This Podcast
We will evaluate, discuss and educate on all types of addiction topics. However, we will highlight the nuanced differences between the medical field (Dr. Heather- Addiction Physician) and those with the disease of addiction (Josh- Certified Peer Recovery Support Specialist). Episodes will not only bring you the specifics of addiction including the neurobiology of addiction and how that translates into the 'real world' but they will also bring you interviews from individuals in early or long-term recovery, therapists, family members, friends, clergy, treatment providers and so much more! We would love to hear from you, whether you have a question, suggestion, recommendation, request or even if you'd like to be a guest on the show!

And stay tuned for our website, which will feature blog posts from your hosts, story updates from previous episodes, 'our favorite' things (resources to coping strategies to just fun things), and merchandise!
