About This Podcast
The Lifeline Project is podcast that explore the science and stories behind the musical, ’Lifeline’. Starting as an educational show for young people, Lifeline explores the human stories past and present that behind Antimicrobial Resistance (or AMR), which is the biggest threat to global health you might never have heard of. Originating in Scotland, it has toured around the USA and will be coming to London in 2026.
The podcast explores this challenging topic through the eyes of scientists, patients, campaigners, writers and musicians. Season one (ep 1-10) is designed to help people understand the problem of AMR, the science and solutions behind it, and how a musical about AMR came to be.
