About This Podcast

This is a place for women who have lived through what people try to minimize, rename, or silence. The We Survive Abuse Podcast speaks directly to Survivors—especially Black women, women across the Black diaspora, and women from communities where strength is expected but protection is not always given. Here, your clarity is not questioned. Your instincts are not dismissed. Your experiences are not softened to make others comfortable.

Each episode breaks down the patterns many of us were taught to ignore:
  • coercion that gets dressed up as love
  • control that hides behind culture, faith, or respectability
  • silence that is rewarded while truth is punished
This is not surface-level healing.

This is recognition. Language. Strategy. And the steady rebuilding of self-trust.

You’ll hear:
  • clear insight into abuse, manipulation, and boundary violations
  • affirming messages that restore dignity without pressure to perform healing
  • real-world conversations about safety, power, and survival
  • cultural awareness that reflects how abuse shows up differently across communities
Some episodes will feel like someone finally said it out loud.
Some will feel like a mirror.
Some will feel like a warning you wish you had earlier. All of it is rooted in one truth: You were never wrong for noticing.

You were never “too much” for wanting safety.

And you are not alone in finding your way forward. This podcast is for women who are ready to see clearly, move differently, and build lives where their safety, voice, and humanity are fully honored.
